Lets go kayaking! We will have 2 groups of 15 members each paddling in this event. The first wave leaves shortly after 10:00 am and the second departs a little after 1:00 pm. Owner Larry Mason conducts a brief training session on shore to make sure every one is comfortable with their kayak and gear. Cruise Lake Conroe with other E&A members and enjoy a morning or afternoon taking in the sights and sounds associated with your kayaking adventure.

From Conroe...... Travel North on I-45. Go beyond 1097 in Willis. Look for the next exit: # 95, Longstreet Rd. Take this exit and at the first stop sign make a left (follow signs for Calvary Rd.) Head westward on the I-45 overpass and you will reach the second stop sign. Make a right there and head north on this two way feeder until you reach third stop sign. This is Calvary Rd. (Be careful .. this is not a 4 way stop !) Make a left on Calvary Road and go 5.2 miles to Stow-A-Way Marina before the bridge. You'll see a white lighthouse breaking through the tree-ridden shoreline. (If you go over the little bridge, you've gone too far.)
